"Learn how to be a 'Safe Smart' kid."
Wilson Commencement Park's Back to School Bash will take place on Wednesday, August 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
In addition to supporting our children with school supplies and useful information before they return back to school, this year's event will primarily focus on safety. We have invited a member of the Rochester Police Department to join us and talk to the kids about bullying. We have also invited a representative from the Center for Youth to inform them on Safe Place, a program for which Wilson Commencement Park is a satellite host. The theme of this year's Back to School Bash is to teach children the importance of safety, and being a 'Safe Smart' kid.
For more information on this event contact J.D. Jackson, Career Development Specialist, Family Support Services by email or phone at (585) 263-7957.
