United Way Easter Basket Raffle a Hopping Success!
On the morning of Good Friday, April 10, Wilson Commencement Park raffled off a pair of Easter Baskets full of Easter candy and goodies; one for a girl, and one for a boy. The winner of the girl’s basket was Rhonda McNair, and Louie Amico won the boy’s basket. The winners were drawn from children in our Early Learning Center school age program, and the raffle raised $80 in support of United Way Greater Rochester, of which Wilson Commencement Park is a supported charity.
Special thanks go to our lovely front desk receptionist, Denise Griffin-Warfield, who not only sold raffle tickets, but filled and decorated the baskets herself as well!
