Developing Successful Families
For two decades, Wilson Commencement Park has provided transitional housing, vocational guidance, educational and life-skills support to nearly 800 single-parent families, as well as quality education and childcare programs to thousands more youngsters who have matriculated through our nationally accredited Early Learning Center. WCP continues to be recognized nationally as a model for transitional housing and support services, helping low income families become financially independent, self-sufficient, contributing members of our community.
Photo Finish 5K Run / Walk
Dozens of local non-profit organizations including Wilson Commencement Park will benefit from the George Eastman House Photo Finish 5K presented by MVP Health Care.
Also know as the "Philanthropy Challenge," this type of event has become a fundraising frontrunner and has global reach to major cities such as New York and London.
Date of race: Saturday, October 6, 2012
Time of race: 8:00 a.m.
Length of race: 3.1 miles
Race start and finish: George Eastman House, 900 East Ave., Rochester, NY 14607 (at the University Ave. entrance.)

While the George Eastman House raises money from registration fees, teams and team members representing Wilson Commencement Park can raise money via pledges and donations.
